Welcome to the
Forestry & Soil Resources Division (FSRD)
Guam Forestry’s mission is to conserve, protect and enhance Guam’s vegetative environment and sustain the natural resources which are dependent on healthy forests. The agency works with stakeholders to promote healthy productive forests in both rural and urban areas throughout the island in partnership with the USDA Forest Service and other key stakeholders. The State and Private Forestry organization of the USDA Forest Service provides technical and financial assistance to landowners and resource managers through a variety of programs – Urban and Community Forestry, Forest Stewardship, Forest Health, and Fire Management Programs.
The Department of Agriculture’s Forestry & Soil Resources Division does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and age in the delivery of services to program participants and beneficiaries, employees, applicants and others.
